Grand Egyptian Museum ToursAbout Grand Egyptian Museum Tours
This site sets tours of the Grand Egyptian Museum side by side: the timed entry ticket, a private visit with an Egyptologist, museum and pyramid days from Cairo and Giza, and day trips from Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh. It reads each tour listing next to the museum's own ticket site and visitor rules. We do not operate or personally conduct these tours. The full line-up sits in the Grand Egyptian Museum tours catalog.
Why It Exists
Every Grand Egyptian Museum listing looks alike in a search result: the golden mask, the Grand Staircase, the pyramids behind. The listings rarely put the details that decide the visit in one place. Is the museum ticket in the price, or paid on the day? How many hours do you actually get inside? Does the tour pick you up in Giza, in Cairo or at a Red Sea resort? Can you cancel?
Those are the columns of the comparison table here, read off each listing.
Where the Figures Come From
Tour prices, ratings, review counts, inclusions, pickup times and refund terms come from the listing on the platform that sells each tour. Opening hours, ticket rules, bag and photo rules come from the museum's official ticket site. Each section names its source.
When two sources disagree, the page shows both or leaves the figure out.
What You Will Not Find
There is no invented Egyptologist or travel writer behind these pages, and no claim that anyone from the site walked these galleries with these guides. Reviews shown are short excerpts from four and five star platform reviews. A problem that comes up often, such as a rushed hour in the museum on a long day trip, is written into the comparison with what to do about it.
How the Site Is Paid For
The booking buttons are affiliate links to GetYourGuide and Viator. If you book through one, the platform pays a commission and your price does not change. No operator pays for a place, a badge or the pick.
